We are surrounded by snow and I have shoveled our driveway more times than I care to count and now throw in the fact that Oliver is on school vacation and I do believe that I am ready for Spring to come knocking on our door. So Oliver and I have been trying our best to keep ourselves busy both inside and out.

Keep reading for our adventures...

First up, pancakes! Oliver has really become a good little helper in the kitchen and is always willing to mix and stir and measure.

He requested a bear pancake like he had in NH. I did my best.

Happily tucking in to his breakfast.

snuggles with Mooki and a little bit of Thomas while I head out to shovel the driveway...again.

On Monday, Matt had the day off from work so we headed to New England Aquarium. Oliver loved it and the large tank was certainly a highlight for him.

The penguins are always a fan favourite.

My boys.

Ohhhh...a jellie!

We have also been finding ourselves at a lot of bookstores. We peruse, read and then usually go get a bite to eat. When it is just too cold to play outside, bookstores are a wonderful refuge.

goofball.

My mom (meme) came up to visit and brought a new book, a new game and heart shaped cupcakes! Matt and I even got to sneak away in the evening for a date night! win, win!

Helping let Luna out.

Out for a brisk morning stroll.

The weather is suppose to warm up in the coming days and although I look forward to the idea of feeling the warm sun on my face I wonder what all of that melty, slushy snow will do the streets and sidewalks.
