Heather Hansen is a painter, sculptor and dancer who currently is creating large scale performance pieces generated with broad, repetitive body gestures across paper.
"Emptied Gestures"(2013) turns physical, dance-like movements into beautiful, symmetrical charcoal drawings which reference both the natural world and the often mundane, continuous movements we as people do throughout our days.
